Kenya Kabngetuny FW AA
Flavors: Caramel, Ripe Juicy Peach, Raisin
Process: Fully Washed
Variety: SL28, SL34, Batian
In the Kericho region of western Kenya, the Kabngetuny Farmers Cooperative Society is comprised of 371 female producers - each with 250 to 350 coffee trees. This coffee has clear flavor notes, full body, and is extremely balanced.
While selected for its flavors and complexity, it happens to be a project coffee from Growing Women in Coffee. The original program focused on giving women ownership over their coffee trees and ultimately a fair price premium. While the project is over, it set the foundation for these all-female producers to continue growing, harvesting and selling their quality coffee beans. They work with Kahawa Bora Millers to process and market the coffees.
Whole Bean. 8 oz.

We have been ordering several packs at a time now, and absolutely love this coffee, we taste the notes of peach and hint of caramel (but not sweet, just the flavor notes). There is also raisin notes somehow, but it all ties together in this complex way. Def recommend giving it a try.
I’m aware of the lingering aftertaste. Pleasant. A bit sweet, not bitter. Taste rolls in slowly. See I’m trying to be more aware of my pallet.
